About Me

I have always enjoyed deeply understanding people. In a world where we often feel alone, it’s a privilege to connect with others with genuine understanding and care. My values of vulnerability, compassion, and connection led me to a career as a psychologist, where I have the honor of deeply knowing people and helping them during their toughest challenges.

My Training

I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Throughout my training I have worked with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating behaviors/disordered eating, sleep, substance use, cancer, and caregiver stress. I was trained in a wide array of therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, meaning-centered psychotherapy, relational-cultural approaches, and trauma treatments. My training also emphasized the importance of understanding each client’s diverse identities and how their identities may shape their story.

My Approach

Therapy is a place where individuals with a wide variety of concerns can gain insight, relief, and lasting positive change. It’s time to truly live a life worth living by deepening your understanding of yourself, others, and the world! I am a compassionate and non-judgmental therapist who can help you live a more connected and authentic life. Together we can uncover the connections between your past and current experiences, so you are empowered to change patterns that no longer serve you.

SERVICES

I currently provide individual therapy virtually to those living in Texas. I see clients weekly or biweekly depending on their goals and availability.
